Static: The Sedentary Future was the project I undertook for my Masters of Architecture Thesis. It is my vision of a dystopian future whereby we have given in to our sedentary nature and our town planning is based on the movement of everything else except the people.

Towns are scattered with Agricultural towers and an trading hub at its centre. A mesh system was created through grasshoper codes with certain guides and limitations that serve as an abstract base of what could be a transport system, housing branches, communications etc.

To push the boundaries of this thesis further, the eventual product was a return to a previous life where nature was allowed to return and our living systems raised above ground.
